TASK covers everything when it comes to your dog's needs! Our programs are CUSTOM to you and your dog. Every dog is different in their own way.

Here at TASK we truly believe in a custom training system that works for every dog, as they are not cookie-cutter. Dogs have different personalities and not every dog will learn the same way. We consider ourselves holistic trainers, meaning, we evaluate your dog as a whole (physical, mental, hierarchy of needs), personal situation, your needs, and your goals as a whole, and then make a custom curriculum just for you! This makes reaching your goals FASTER, as we can specifically work on the issues that are important to you!

 

We use ALL tools, but NOT on ALL dogs. This means if your dog is a candidate for a specific training tool, not only will we educate you on the tools and proper usage, but we will make sure your pup understands FIRST prior to using any type of tools. You MUST teach your pup what it is you want them to do. Tools are NOT made to fix your problems, they should be used in conjunction with training. Also, your dog may not need the same tool as another dog. We teach and layer tools as they are needed to reach your individual goals.

We evaluate, get a game plan together, and then teach you and your pup how to reach your goals together in a timely fashion.

 

TASK was created by our owner and founder Lauren. Lauren has been working with, and training dogs since childhood. She has over 13 years of professional experience training dogs.

 

Lauren owns a Belgian Malinois named Vader. She also owns a German Shepherd named Aurora. You might recognize both of them as they're our mascots! Both dogs are highly trained and help out during lessons. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to meet them soon!

 

Lauren started her company with the help of her trusted and loyal companion Aurora her German Shepherd. Lauren suffers from medical issues that were life-altering at the time. Aurora her now retired service dog helped her overcome those struggles which led to the creation of TASK! See the thing is, without Aurora, TASK wouldn't exist!

 

Vader is a certified explosive detection dog and also our demo dog! Just goes to show when you have four paws by your side almost anything is pawsible! Both Aurora and Vader have helped their mom overcome many things together over the years, and they all want to show you that you can too! Aurora and Vader are the heart and soul of TASK. We want to help you and your pup reach your goals together!

TASK was created by Lauren as a way to help others overcome their own physical and mental disabilities by way of example, and by acting as a leader. This is where our motto comes in:

TASK gives back to its community in many different ways! TASK donates a portion of its proceeds to local rescues and charities. TASK collects donations and brings them to shelters and rescues in need. We also offer many discounts for others in the community who help others as a way of showing our appreciation!
